Pony update

For those of you who kindly inquired about my ailing ponies; so far all is well. Vet spent 3 hours here on Tuesday tending to a number of issues and all that remains now is result of blood test for Cushing’s, and, if everything else heals well, Big Brown Pony ought to spend a day at the clinic having a cracked molar removed. I swear they are like an old married couple mirroring each other, sore footsies, sore teeth, a little local infection the details of which I won’t disgust you with.

I’m still feeling uncomfortable with the fact that they will one day have to leave, despite all rational arguments that keeping farm animals is too much work for my level of physical ability. But for now we muddle on.

Marts

As my posts are dwindling to once a month and my stats to zero, I am however still hobbling along behind the scenes, doing bits and bobs and even finishing stuff on occasion. This is one of my recent projects, which I hope will eventually help alleviate my headaches.

Another month has unfolded and about to run out, with hopes of the next one being gentler for sitting tasks and skinny cold fingers. I’m being flooded with opportunities to practice what I spoke of recently, oiling the door between the brain studio and the public lounge out front. Such as unexpected financial changes looming, a little kitty with patella issues, wacky hormones with the accompanying pains and other bodily distractions. All designed to steer my focus away from “the work”; Godzilla anxiety vs. Wonderwoman calm and joy.
