Wow. Certainly no strawberries in my garden this morning, only snow, snow, snow!!! Hope they ripen! Jane
I’m certain they won’t, although it could be a fun experiment to bring this little confused plant inside to see what happens!
And our beech hedge has been sprouting new, young, light green leaves lately.
December and strawberries……what is the world coming to?! 😉
“Strawberries in December” sounds like a feel-good memoir 😉 I’d read it.
Tell us if they ripen!!!
Status is, that the plant itself if thriving, but almost immediately cut off supply to the berry stalk, which has now withered. Perhaps I did not dig up enough of the “mother” plant, there was a clump sitting close together, but of course you disturb and break many of the roots in such a procedure in any case.
Too bad, they would have been beautiful berries and good to eat …. You are unlimited in your imagination!
hope all is well with you Pia! And that your holiday times are awesome.
Thanks you for thinking of me, it warms me inside. :bear: It’s not going too well for me at the moment, but I’ll be back with a few trivialities shortly. 😉 (the weather sucks for taking pictures)
