While I was waiting for the polls to come in, I actually went on knitting because I needed something simple to do. Now that I see the sweater from afar for the first time, I wish I had gone ahead and halved the stripes on the lower part of the sleeves, as several have voted, but I’m not frogging, I’m just too tired. I’m going to keep the idea for another project, however!

Decisions
I knew I wouldn’t have enough variegated yarn for full sleeves on my latest sweater, so I had a backup yarn ready. Only now I don’t know if to continue the wide stripes, redo with only two rows of each colour or all grey. Opinions?
It’s Wednesday again
And I’ve been knitting again for some quiet, uneventful passtime. Also G is on holiday and watches a lot of tv in between all the house maintenance, so I needed something not requiring too much attention from me. I don’t enjoy just staring at the box, it feels like my evening is completely wasted, but I don’t want to lock myself in the bedroom with a book all the time.
So I started a simple box shaped wool sweater from yarn I “tripped over” at my LYS. She only had two skeins, so possibly I’ll need a solid colour for the sleeves, time will tell.
Weaving palettes
I got out some yarn piles and tried to arrange them in groups for weaving summer fabrics, relentlessly trying to design clothes for myself… Good thing I’m not overly vain!
Sew done
Had a bit more energy today, colder outside (+inside) and windy = I managed to get some of those fabrics done that I threatened to zigzag etc. yesterday. Well, the fun bits anyway, such as the saori jacket, not weaving in ends on my sweater. Most boring task in the world. The vest works great under an oversized, ruined (as in I got paint on it) sweater for keeping me warmer.
A couple of sneak peeks (and pssst – I did paint a teeny bit too! It’s difficult to dive back in, though, as I haven’t been in any kind of flow yet to just pick it up where I left, so I started something new)
