Greenhouse from scraps

It did blow over in the storm. All of it lifted off and landed on my strawberries…

So now it’s tethered, and that seems to work so I can get the cucumbers out next week I think. Still storming. 12° daytime.

  1. And now the heavens opened the floodgates. With hails large enough to spook my ponies. What a summer!

  2. I don’t think I could ever make this sort of thing work–the winds off the lake here can get wild. Our big wood Adirondack chairs are tipped over regularly so I think plastic sheeting would just disintegrate!

    1. I have no idea how long it will last, perhaps a week, a month, all summer if it quiets down. It’ll be pulled down as soon as harvest is done. But a fun experiment nonetheless.
