Upgraded

digitalisBack in the game here, just need to install a few things to be back to normal – or better than, hopefully. It’s amazing that I got so far, because everything else I’ve touched lately has failed miserably, the elderflower cordial, the weaving with my most expensive yarn, my cooking, dyeing, you name it.

For the rest of the day I’ll attempt to clear both my desk and the work table, how hard can that be? Unless I have to remove the contact lens that’s making my right eye sting! šŸ˜‰

If all else fails I can swat flies, they must be breeding like maniacs this summer, drives me bonkers and corpses everywhere.

So anyway, haven’t installed my fancy, lovely plugins yet, but it seems there will be more Photoshop happening finally, with 64 bits and a fresh start.

Hope everybody is having a lovely weekend! :bear:

All that weld

…and nothing to do with it. That’s what I’ve been thinking every time I pass by my second year weld, lush, tall and proud. Because as I mentioned in the fennel post A. I don’t have a new dye yarn supply, B. I don’t really want to keep dyeing samples with cheap yarn, C. I don’t have any projects planned that require a large quantity of yellow yarn, and D. I just haven’t felt like it anyway. Which is a shame, because it is one of the plants I want to keep using in the more limited range that I’ve set out to use in the future (rather than try all the things).

Back on the loom

Purple warp turned around in a completely different configuration. Yeah, I know I’m the only one who will notice šŸ˜‰

While I’m trying to get back in a painting groove, it’s nice to have something else to do waiting for layers to dry, so I don’t just end up here, clicking, losing time and mind.

Otherwise just a pretty lazy Saturday. I should get my rain gear and go water the strawberries! (because the hose is leaking on me) I need to soften and till the ground a bit so I can sow some lettuce.

What with headaches and feeling fed up with house work I’m way behind on the weeding, and they’re threatening to take over my projects. But I’m hoping for a bit of rain to help me, hacking away at concrete will amount to very little besides more headaches and sore hands! And I don’t want to run the sprinkler all over the garden for it. (especially because I tend to forget about it and let it run for 3 hours in the same spot)
