Today we sent the two brown ponies on their way together. They’ve been special friends nearly half their lives and deserved as much.
Rhino
I have a whopping cold for a change, so I’m going to try the tiny post thing for a while, Ã la small stones. This is only my second cold in maybe 10 years, I keep forgetting how horrible they can be!! 🙄
Title: 3 project beginnings, shared palette.
Further development will, hopefully, eventually, appear on the paint blog. Achoo!
September…
I’m a bit dead in the water at the moment, nothing brilliant emerging upstairs, no flow happening if I try to do stuff anyway. Finally got my spray paint a while ago to finish those frames, but had lost all steam in the meantime when it came to showing the result.
This morning it occurred to me that perhaps this is a unique opportunity to dig into all those project ideas (well one or two of them) that I just make a note of but never begin because time.
Pony update
For those of you who kindly inquired about my ailing ponies; so far all is well. Vet spent 3 hours here on Tuesday tending to a number of issues and all that remains now is result of blood test for Cushing’s, and, if everything else heals well, Big Brown Pony ought to spend a day at the clinic having a cracked molar removed. I swear they are like an old married couple mirroring each other, sore footsies, sore teeth, a little local infection the details of which I won’t disgust you with.
I’m still feeling uncomfortable with the fact that they will one day have to leave, despite all rational arguments that keeping farm animals is too much work for my level of physical ability. But for now we muddle on.
