  1. There’s always so much to consider and worry about. I try to just do what I can, but it never feels enough.

  2. Interesting article! The gist of it, from my understanding, is that ancient ways of farming and manufacturing are actually better for the environment as a whole than modern ways: Like the American Indian philosophy of using the whole animal, leather makes sense and is far longer lasting than many synthetic garments; wool also makes sense, as we’ve got domesticated sheep who can’t revert to wild strains and require man’s care to survive, wool production aside.
    Honestly, I ignore PETA; they thrive on being a firebrand, and their arguments for or against something are usually incomplete as regards the entire impact or big picture of their ever-fluctuating moral choices on both humanity and the environment…
    I just try to choose clothing wisely, including fair trade, and use it until it’s falling apart! Then it becomes something upcycled…
